Prachtig om in de vroege zomer maar liefst 5 landkaartjes (een minder algemene vlindersoort) te zien snoepen van het stuifmeel van kleurrijke distels. Allen hebben ze de vleugels mooi open, en zijn ze dus voornamelijk te spotten aan de hand van hun kenmerkende witte rugband.
